Introduction to Bridge

CNOL 1013

 The game of bridge is recognized as an effective brain booster; a mental sport that involves memory, concentration, logic, psychology, and a bit of math. And then there is the social aspect!

Exercise your brain, increase your skills, and enjoy yourself at the bridge table.

All bridge players are welcome. Lessons are geared to beginner/intermediate levels.

Materials: Participants can purchase the following books from the instructor: 
Bridge Basics I An Introduction by Audrey Grant   $10.00
Bridge Basics II Competitive Bidding by Audrey Grant    $10.00
Both published by Baron Barclay Bridge Supply (2005)

Instructor: Barbara Rees
Dates: 8 weeks, Thursdays May 2 - June 20, 2013
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Location: Room 331A, Marshall D'Avary Hall, UNB campus  (click here for campus map)
Course fee: $155.00 plus HST

About the instructor: Barbara Rees is a Silver Life Master who teaches extensively in the Fredericton area and on cruise ships for many years.
