Writing Hurts
CCOM 1014
"I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wishes to get their creative juices flowing! An excellent source of resource material for aspiring novelists." - Dawn Steeves
Learn how to see, feel and interpret the world around you as a writer does – while writing. Writing Hurts focuses on the creative process, not the mechanics of writing. Class exercises get the writing juices flowing and help you overcome the writer’s block that challenges most people. You’ll learn how to tackle difficult subjects like sex, violence, humor and foul language; as well as how to start a novel, keep the steam up and finish it. Count on heated discussions, timed writing exercises that will drive you mad, and assignments that will have you biting your nails…but it will be fun!
