Traveller’s Chinese

CCOM 2015

colosseum imagePlanning a trip, teaching or doing business in China? Enjoy your travels more by learning some basic Chinese. This course is for those with no knowledge of Chinese. Emphasis is on developing simple conversational skills; pronunciation, greetings and short sentences to ask for such things as food, drink, shelter and directions. You'll also learn about every day and local expressions, along with Chinese culture, customs and some history. You'll practice your Chinese in one-on-one situations with your classmates for settings such as business meetings, restaurants, taxis, airports, hotels, and cultural sites - such as the Great Wall of China! By the end of this course, you'll feel confident making simple requests and asking basic questions, and have a set of useful expressions under your belt!
