Get hands-on experience working directly in a potter’s studio. Professional potter Emily Veysey will guide you through hand-building techniques in clay, as well as an introduction to glazing. You'll make, decorate and glaze your own pieces of pottery. Everything needed will be supplied. Just bring your creativity!
Materials: A $70.00 materials fee is is included in the price. This covers a 50lb box of clay, glazes and underglazes.

About the instructor:
Emily Veysey is a potter and ceramic artist working in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Originally from Sussex, Emily moved to Fredericton to attend the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, where she completed her Certificate in Foundation of Visual Arts, Diploma in Fine Craft and Design, and a Certificate in Graduate Studies. After spending some time on the Executive Committee for the New Brunswick Crafts Council, she established a cooperative studio in 2014 in downtown Fredericton. Emily currently works part time in her studio, along with several other colleagues to create unique, individual work for sale and exhibition.
