Outdoor Photography

CCOM 6040

outdoor photography Take advantage of the impending gorgeous spring weather and warm up your camera skills! Designed for beginning and amateur photographers, this course will combine technical and creative instruction with field trips and hands-on learning.  We’ll discuss various forms of outdoor photography, including landscape, macro and architecture.  Learn how to make your camera’s settings work for you no matter what sort of situation you find yourself in.  In-class mini-critiques will give you a chance to look at your and your classmates’ photos to discuss what’s working and ways to improve.

(In the event of less-than-ideal weather, in-class photo shoots may replace some of the outside activities.)
