About the instructor:
Bina and her husband Basu settled in Fredericton in 1985, and were the very first Nepalese immigrants in New Brunswick. As young, non-traditional immigrants who were eager to integrate into the local community, they quickly mixed with many cultural groups in Fredericton and introduced Nepalese cuisine to their friends and neighbors. Most of those people were interested in learning to cook her food, and Bina even offered a cooking class through the Chinese Cultural Association of New Brunswick. She is a certified food handler and is currently working to complete her second book, “Choreography of Cooking Nepalese Cuisine with Cultural Content”. Bina is offering exclusive cooking classes for people with a special interest in international cuisines and cultures.
