French Beginners Level II

chateau imageContinue to improve your French conversational skills. If you have a basic French vocabulary, can form simple sentences and understand some spoken language as long as it is slow and simple, then this course is for you. By the end of this class, you will be able to use complete sentences, as well as formulate and respond to questions. To get the full benefit of this class, it is recommended that you complete Beginners Level I or have an equivalent knowledge of the language.

There will be a 15-minute period each class of “Comment dit-on?”, where students can ask their own questions about general subjects and situations.

Materials: The required textbook for the course is "Learn French the Fast and Fun Way" by E. Leete (Blue cover paperback — Nov 2, 2002) Third Edition - Barrons Educational Series. This book is available on www.amazon.ca.

About the instructor:
Mark Temelini has been mastering French for many years. He holds a PhD in Classics and is an instructor in the Department of Classics and Ancient History at UNB. He has extensive experience teaching post secondary students of all ages. He has lived in Montreal for 20 years and his proficiency in French earned him a university scholarship in France. He enjoys helping students understand, succeed and have fun during class.
