D.I.Y. Handy-Person’s Course

CCOM 1298

Many of us don’t aspire to be die-hard Do-It-Yourselfers, but it’s good to know what to do when the lights go out, the tap is dripping, hinges and doors are squeaking, or your car is acting up. This five-week course will guide you through the basics of plumbing, electricity, carpentry and auto maintenance, so that you can take care of the normal chores, projects and emergencies that spring up in life. Be helpless no more!

"When asked why I took this course, my answer has become, 'How could I possibly NOT take it?'  This is something everyone who owns a home or wants to save money on simple repairs should take! This was a fun, interesting course that I think people of all ages; regardless of sex, education, experience or aptitude would benefit from. Even if you know how to do some of the things the course covers, it would serve as a good refresher I’m sure you would still learn new things."  Jacqueline Wilt
