About the instructor: Laura first honed her soap making skills as a new mother in the rural village of Havelock. New to the community, she wanted to broaden her sense of community and build her skill sets in homesteading, sustainable living and cooking. She began the Green Eye Coop as a volunteer project at the YMCA in 2010. When volunteer Coop developed momentum and began to grow, others joined Laura to form a Board of Directors and incorporated as a Co-operative/Not-for-profit. Through the Coop, Laura has a wealth of experience offering soap making workshops.
