Adult Education Programs offered by Distance
Are you involved in helping adults learn directly through teaching, training, counseling, community work or volunteerism? The Certificate in Adult Education may be for you.
The Certificate in Adult Education is a 36 credit hour program, which offers learners the opportunity to gain basic skills and knowledge of the techniques, methods, and philosophy of adult education. This certificate program may be completed on a part-time basis and is open to anyone who meets the normal admission requirements for the Bachelor of Education Degree in Adult Education.
The Bachelor of Education Degree in Adult Education may be pursued either as a first or second degree. As a first degree, learners will be part of a 120 credit hour course of study, which allows up to 42 credit hours for credit for prior non-formal learning and experience.
As a second degree, learners with a recognized Bachelor's degree will complete 60 credit hours of study and may be eligible for 6 credit hours of credit for prior non-formal learning and experience.

The certificate and degree courses in adult education are offered by either term-based web courses, or audio conference from Fredericton to various sites within the province or beyond, giving you the flexibility to learn anywhere.
