Organizations know how important it is to provide on-the-job training for their employees. They also know that having skilled and competent trainers helps make the organization function better. This workshop covers the basics a new trainer needs. It is designed to help the individual who is not or at least not yet a professional trainer.

Instructor

Joanne Fraser's management background in the private, public and international non-government sectors brings a wealth of experience to her training and facilitation work. For the past twelve years she has worked as an independent consultant. Currently Ms. Fraser is an associate of RiverSystems: Leadership, Strategy & Organizational Development providing training and facilitation services for government, non-government and private sector clients. She has designed and delivered training workshops in project management, strategic planning, leadership skills, interpersonal communication, coaching basics, team building and negotiation skills.

Joanne has a keen interest in helping individuals and groups learn from and adapt to change. Ms. Fraser has a Certificate in Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University. She holds a BSc degree from the University of Saskatchewan and a MSc degree in Comparative Development and International Policy from the University of Bristol, England.
