David Shipley is the enterprise strategy analyst for the University of New Brunswick's Information Technology Services. He is responsible for helping develop and implement UNB's web & mobility strategies as well as IT security awareness. Over the past four years, he founded UNB's corporate social media platforms and helped lead the redevelopment of the university's website, UNB.ca. David was formerly the senior enterprise web content strategist with Communications & Marketing at UNB and used the web and social media to tell UNB's story.
David is a former business journalist with the New Brunswick Telegraph-Journal. He is currently pursuing his Masters of Business Administration at UNB, with a focus on social media. David also provides consultative services on web and social media to small businesses and non-profits / not-for-profits.
