Do you know how to evaluate credibility when asking for information? Whether dealing with potential new employees, prospective suppliers or current members of staff facing a disciplinary hearing, having advanced interviewing skills could contribute significantly to your organization.

This two-day seminar will introduce you to techniques in gathering and evaluating interview information previously limited to professional investigators.   With the ability to gather and evaluate complete information, achieving your professional mandate is much improved.

For those tasked with investigating complaints in the workplace, this seminar will provide tips on how to set and complete professional interviews; how to work effectively with third parties present; improve decision-making skills; interviewing uncooperative witnesses; question techniques for detecting deception; gathering and documenting evidence and making and defending conclusions.

Who should attend?

Managers, supervisors, union officials and labour relations and Human Resources professionals who are involved in interviewing new employees and potential new business partners and those responsible for conducting statutory and non-statutory harassment fact-finding and other types of workplace investigations.
