This two-day workshop is designed for people who would like to develop their skills at facilitating group discussions and decision-making or problem solving meetings. Through exercises and activities participants will learn how to:
- Develop a facilitation plan
- Engage participants in a structured discussion
- Manage and encourage engagement
- Choose appropriate decision-making and problem-solving tools
- Build consensus and commitment to action
- Address common facilitation challenges

Instructor
Elaine Leclerc is President of HCS Training and Consulting. She has been providing training and organizational consulting services to business, industry and government for more than 20 years.
In addition to designing and delivering workshops and speaking at conferences,Elaine provides coaching to individuals and teams and works within organizations to manage transitions and create healthy and effective workplace environments.
She is a graduate of UNB Fredericton, and lives in Douglas Harbour, New Brunswick.
