This workshop provides an examination of current Compensation and Benefits Management theories and practices. You will learn how wages and salaries are set, define advantages and disadvantages of various incentive plans and describe major Canadian laws relating to employee security. Participants will be able to explain key issues in designing pension plans and will explore how related services can be better administered.

Denise Gallant brings over 33 years Human Resource experience, specializing in the areas of Total Rewards including; leadership, compensation, benefits and payroll.  She has been with Irving Group Moncton since July 2004.  Denise was hired as a Payroll & Benefits Manager where she was responsible for managing a team of 8 payroll and benefit members for 5,000 employees.  The group was responsible for union and non-union payrolls and benefits in both the US & Canada.
