Fiap Jean Monnet

In Poitiers, participants and faculty will stay at the Cité Roche d'argent, located next to the gothic cathedral and close to all major sites in Poitiers. Participants will enjoy single accommodations with private washroom facilities during their stay in Poitiers. 



In Paris, participants and faculty will stay at the Fiap Jean-Monnet, located at 30, rue Cabanis in the 14th arrondissement, next to the Glacière station of the metro. Participants will experience shared accommodations, in rooms of 3-4 participants, during their stay in Paris. For a supplement, individual rooms can be reserved. For a premium, participants may request double or single accommodations. Rates for single and double accommodations are as follows:

Single accommodations 282,00 euros for duration of stay in Paris
Double accommodations 84,00 euros for duration of stay in Paris

Meals

During your stay in both Poitiers and Paris, participants are granted special permission to have their meals at the French Government subsidized rates.

In Poitiers, participants will have their meals in a private lounge at the Cité Roche d'argent residence and at the Maison diocésaine.

In Paris, participants are will have breakfast and dinner at the cafeteria of the Fiap.

le procopeFrance is known worldwide as a country of great food and restaurants. They are indeed dream restaurants in France. You also have a few hidden treasures. In 2012, we enjoyed meals in the following restaurants:

  • Le Bruant in Saint-Porchaire
  • Les Choucas in Chauvigny
  • L'abri des pins in Mérignac
  • Le Bouillon Racine in Paris
  • Au pied de cochon in Paris
  • Ladurée in Paris

There will also be an official reception with local government representatives in Poitiers and the Amitiés Acadiennes headquarters in Paris.

Finally, we will have our final banquet at the historic restaurant Le Procope which lists its former patrons as Napoleon, Voltaire, Benjamin Franklin and Robespierre.
