Testimonials
"I had wanted to fly for as long as I can remember but didn’t start
flying until November of 2003 with Capital Airways, and I haven’t looked
back since. While flying with this school, I have had the opportunity
to meet and learn from a number of great pilots. I’ve enjoyed every
minute of it all."

"After graduating in May 2007 from the UNB/Aviation Program, I began
my career as a pilot; flight instructing and flying charters at Capital
Airways in Fredericton, NB. In the spring of 2008 the experience I
gained both through the UNB BBA/Aviation program and my year of work
experience at Capital Airways, allowed me to qualify for a lucrative
position with Air Georgian, based out of Toronto Lester B Pearson
Airport. I am currently in the middle of my training as a first officer
on the Beech 1900D aircraft, a 18 passenger turbo-prop aircraft,
operated on the Air Canada/Air Alliance connector flight routes.
I can’t say enough about my time spent both as a student and an instructor in the UNB BBA/Aviation program. The quality of education, small class size, strong residence community and one of the most beautiful campuses in the country are just some of my favorite aspects of the University of New Brunswick. On the flight training side, Capital Airways’ flexibility and attention to detail in every aspect of my training put me that much further ahead of my peers in other similar programs. Throughout the program I was instructed on modern equipment, allowing me to learn how to operate both “new” and “older” technologies in aircraft avionics.
In this day and age a university degree is an extremely valuable asset, something that is too often disregarded when choosing a flight training program. Through my research into various flight training programs; I have not discovered a better combination of both University Academics and flight training than the BBA/Aviation degree program at the University of New Brunswick.
I would not hesitate in recommending this program to anyone aspiring to become a pilot, and I look forward to flying with future graduates of the program as my career progresses!"
