May 26-29, 2011 - Restigouche River
Cost per person $299 + HST
Group will meet twice in May to finalize details
An experience you will treasure all your life— the opportunity to camp beside and canoe on one of Canada’s great Heritage Rivers, the bountiful Restigouche.
Breathtakingly beautiful and historically significant, the Restigouche River winds peacefully
through the dense forests of the Appalachian Range. In the spring, the banks are lush and green,
heavy with the Fiddlehead fern.
Adventure guides Beth Johnston and Janine Papadopoulos provide expert canoe instruction, tents, canoes and other gear (or bring your own), river shuttle, delicious meals and entertainment around the campfire. Two preliminary meetings will be held before the trip. Participants will be paired according to paddling abilities: partners not required; previous canoeing experience suggested.
