How to Listen to Jazz Music
An introductory course for anyone who would be interested in discovering more about this exhilarating, seemingly intimidating art form. Increase your enjoyment and appreciation of the language and history of Jazz Music through parallel class lectures, listening sessions and group discussion.

Discover Hand Drumming
In this session the students will learn the history of hand drumming, proper care of a hand drum, basic music theory, several music rhythms from West Africa and Latin America, and how to play Djembe or congas. Music students, Education students, Early Child Educators, or music lovers in general will find this session beneficial.

Beginner Adult Band
Did you play in your high school band and want to pick it up again? Adults with little experience playing a band instrument will have the opportunity to play in a band in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

Glee Club
Join the UNB Conservatory Glee Club Â- work on singing technique, harmony, choreography and stage technique all in a fun atmosphere. Solo and group performances, and Bilingual instruction is available (English & French).
Open to ages 14 & up.
