Programs
Band/orchestra programs
- Woodwind, brass, percussion and string students should have at least one year experience and must provide their own instruments.
- Students will be asked to perform a short audition upon their arrival so that they may be placed in the appropriate ensemble.
Choral programs
- No prior experience required.
- They are assigned to groups on the basis of age and experience with no audition.
Special programs
- Piano camp: The minimum level for participation is Grade 8 RCM or equivalent.
- Classical guitar: The minimum level for participation is Grade 4 RCM or equivalent.
- eMusic: Create music on a computer, iPad, or iPhone. Students will explore music composition, arranging, and performance. No experience on a traditional instrument is required. Ages 13 and up.
Programs for young children
- Youth strings: Half-day camp for students with some experience on string instruments.
- Exploring Arts and Music: Full-day camp that introduces children to the relationship between the arts. Children will draw sound, paint music, invent instruments, sing shapes, and much more.
- Musical Adventures: Full-day camp that explores different aspects of music, including recorder, composition and choir.
