These contracts lay out the terms pertaining to intellectual property, licensing and remuneration for development. Developers have up to one year to develop their course, although we encourage a shorter timeline—and we can provide technical assistance to accelerate this process.
Sample Teaching Contract.pdf
Sample Alternate Teaching Contract.pdf
These are examples of contracts for the delivery (teaching) of an open-entry course. These contracts lay out the terms pertaining to remuneration for teaching an online course. These are nominally three-year contracts with yearly renewal upon successful review. Standard contracts are for online courses with an established track record of strong enrollment; alternate contracts are for new online courses or courses with relatively low enrollment (around ten per year).
This is an evaluation rubric used to review an online course. It can also be used to figure out important points to keep in mind when developing a course.
