CE 3963 Engineering Economy

This course develops fundamental quantitative methods in order to evaluate engineering projects from financial and economic standpoints as elements of a simple economic model building.

The course is restricted to students with at least 60 ch completed.

There are 13 tests associated with each of 13 course topics. Students will have two attempts at each, and the highest score will be chose. Each test contributes 2% to the final mark or 26% in total. There is a midterm exam after completion of the first 6 topics which contributes 14% to the final mark. Final exam contributes 60% to the final mark and has to be arranged in advance with the College of Extended Learning. Topic tests are multiple-choice tests. Midterm and final exams along with multiple-choice questions include numerical problems.
