Course Description

This course has been designed to provide the final assistance to candidates about to write the CRSP exam. The program has been developed by CRSPs and other experts in the field of occupational health and safety. The preparation course materials follow the learning competencies offered by the BCRSP. The preparation course spans all of the 11 domains represented in the 2010 BCRSP Examination Blueprint.  It allows for and ensures an intense review of the domain material. A major focus of the course is online practice exam writing, accessing the hundreds of questions hosted in the examination database.  The online exam format best approximates the actual online exam and includes an extensive collection of independent type multiple choice exam questions.

This course enables participants to identify their individual strengths and weaknesses on a domain-by-domain basis and enables them to focus on the final study needs right up to the exam day.  The course development focused on the many texts, study guides and the 147 examination competencies identified by the BCRSP in its 2010 Examination Blueprint.  This course gives the participant the tools and exam writing practice to successfully complete the study and examination process.

  • A detailed review of the 11 domains including a review of the technical material relevant to competencies of each domain (Accident Theory; Environmental Practices; Ergonomics; Fire Prevention and Protection; Health and Wellness; HSE Auditing; Laws and Ethics; Occupational Health Safety and Environmental Systems; Occupational Hygiene; Risk Management; and Safety Techniques and Technology).
  • Online practice exams (end-of-module exams) are provided in each domain to allow the CRSP candidate to prepare to write the CRSP exam online.
