This certificate program is based on the award-winning, evidence-based program developed for the New Brunswick Department of Education.

It is designed for practitioners, caregivers or health-care professionals who have full-time work or family commitments.

Participant Commitment

Theoretical Portion

  • 40 hours of online lectures over 20 weeks
  • Pre-recorded lecture allow you to work at your own pace
  • Instructor available online at scheduled times to answer questions
  • Interactive review sessions before quizzes or finals

Practicum Portion

  • Up to 10 full days of hands-on training
  • Working closely with autism professionals and instructors
  • Putting into practice the theories and skills learned online
  • Takes place in Fredericton

Additional study as required

Duration: Core theory online and core practicum runs January 13 to June 30, 2014. 

Cost: $4595 (no HST)
