Autism Support Training Program for Parents
This certificate program is based on the award-winning, evidence-based program developed for the New Brunswick Department of Education.
It is designed for parents or guardians of autistic children.
Participant Commitment
Theoretical Portion
- 40 hours of online lectures over 12 weeks
- Pre-recorded lecture allow you to work at your own pace
- Instructor available online at scheduled times to answer questions
- Interactive review sessions before quizzes or exams
Practicum Portion
- Up to 6 full days of hands-on training
- Working closely with autism professionals and instructors
- Putting into practice the theories and skills learned online
- Takes place in Fredericton
Additional study as required
Duration: Core theory online runs January 14 to June 30, 2013.
Cost: $3595 (No HST)
