Lean Six Sigma Belt Certification
The Value of a Juran Certification
Juran Certification as featured in Quality Progress and The Wall Street Journal is one of the most sought after certifications in the industry. We have certified over 5,000 Belts around the globe in accordance with the international and the American Society Quality (ASQ) body of knowledge since 1996. A Juran Certified Black Belt signifies technical competency, deep understanding of the principles, and a demonstrated ability to deliver results.
To become a Juran certified Belt, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- Pass an examination.
- Successfully complete a Lean Six Sigma project (conducted during the course of training, with selection approved by the Champion). Project success means using the Lean Six Sigma methodology correctly to achieve stated operational and financial objectives.
- Submit a final project report (softcopy) to Juran (detailed requirements for the final project report will be provided during the Belt training).
- Each candidate must present his/her project and answer questions posed by the Juran Certifier. This review takes about two hours per project. The project review takes place approximately six to eight weeks after the project is completed.
Project defenses typically require two hours of consultant time to prepare for and conduct the certification examination.
