About Laura Downing:
Laura Downing is a world-class Balanced Scorecard expert who has been
working directly with the developers of the Balanced Scorecard (Drs.
Kaplan and Norton) for over 15 years. She is co-founder and Managing
Partner of Ascendant Strategy Management Group dedicated to providing
performance management solutions including consulting, reporting
software, facilitation and training. Ms. Downing was also a founder of
Balanced Scorecard Collaborative and Palladium Group in partnership with
Drs. Kaplan and Norton. Laura has partnered with a range of
organizations implementing a performance Management system: US Army,
Catholic Charities, FBI, ACCION, Office of Management and Budget,
PetroCanada and Government of New Brunswick. She was instrumental in
developing Balanced Scorecard and Strategy Execution methodology over
the past twenty years.
