The Right Pet for You

CCOM 3030

You are considering a pet because (circle all that apply) the kids are asking; you're retiring; you just bought a house; the company would be nice. But now, goldfish or golden doodle? Hamster or horse? Boa or budgie? The right choice will lead to years of joyful companionship; the wrong choice could lead to financial drain, suffering, guilt and regret. Join educator and experienced animal person Kris Trotter in an overview of the advantages, needs and costs of a wide range of pets, options to ethically obtain them and which individual to select.

This engaging 1-session workshop is suitable for adults and teens who want to be responsible owners of a happy, healthy pet.
