Bookbinding

CCOM 1315

Making a small coptic journal for your large thoughts!

In this workshop, we’ll learn some basic bookmaking techniques, such as building a book block, finding the grain of paper, piercing, sewing, drilling, designing the perfect cover.

The finished product, handmade by you, will be a perfect little journal to carry everywhere with you. Nothing extra is needed for this workshop, unless you would like to bring a few personal embellishments for the cover - buttons, ribbons, photos, smallish baubles, etc.

I’ve been creating one-of-a-kind books for over 10 years, teaching fun & not-too-fussy workshops in NB and NS.”
