Basic Drawing Skills

CCOM 1038

We all learn to draw the moment we first picked up a pencil. The simple act of learning to write is actually drawing each letter in a precise manner. But, most of us stop drawing at the "stick figure" stage due to frustration and lack of knowledge on how to create a realistic looking drawing.

This course will introduce ways for you to draw anything and make it look real. Portraits, Landscapes, still life, etc. If you can see it, you can draw it, and all on a beginners level. During the course, we will address elements such as perspective, composition, and proper use of photo-reference, picture plain and creating grid structure. Sound overwhelming? It's really not. Once these basic skills are learned, you'll truly be able to draw anything.
