Basic Computing is for people who have questions about technology. Technology is a constant presence in today’s society. Computer jargon can be very confusing. Where do your photos go when you download them? Smartphones, tablets and email, Facebook and texting are now used to communicate with employers, family and friends every day. Twitter is used by everyday people, celebrities and even the President of the United States!

How do you get started? How do you keep your information secure? This course will introduce you to basic computing terminology for helping you make informed technology decisions when considering a purchase. You will also learn how to navigate common pitfalls to help ensure you have a positive computing experience. We’ll work to answer your questions about basic computing!
