Specialized formats

Specialized formats and workshops provide customized programming and services at the request of our clients and sponsoring organizations. Within these formats and workshops, we feature flexibility in scheduling, creativity in course design, and the ability to deliver our courses on location.

Scheduling is flexible. We will work with you to determine the course dates, class schedule and location. Costs will vary depending on the program, its duration, location and group size. Course fees will include tuition, program materials, venue, accommodations, meals and activities.

Independent Language Management Workshop Series©

The five-part workshop series provides participants with a wide range of language management techniques suitable to the work environment, specific to personal learning goals and tailored to individual language proficiencies. The custom-designed weekday/weekend sessions will be delivered on-site over a three-month period.

Professional/Labour Market Language Training©

Designed to help participants acquire confidence in setting and achieving language and professional/labour market goals. Participants will have ongoing opportunities to increase their understanding, application and appropriate usage of practical English language skills through content-based classes, labs, workshops and environmental experiences. Features custom-designed training and on-site course delivery.

Learning on the Move©

This format offers participants the opportunity to learn and practise their English language skills while travelling and enjoying recreational activities. Discover Fredericton, New Brunswick’s capital city, and the charming towns and villages located nearby. Personal and professional interests may be incorporated into course design.

  • Academic English Field School - Designed for UNB graduate students in Economics
  • Academic English and Pathway to Employment Field School - Designed for New Brunswick newcomers
  • High School Summer Sessions (July and August) - Two-week English language learning programs; Designed for high school students in grades 9 to 12
