This seminar is also offered as part of the Human Resources Management Program.

This seminar provides an examination of current Compensation and Benefits Management theories and practices. You will learn how wages and salaries are set, define advantages and disadvantages of various incentive plans, and learn about Canadian laws related to employee security. You will also be able to explain key issues in designing pension plans and will explore how related services can be better administered.

Marcy Weston is an experienced professional with 12 years of progressive HR experience working across various HR functions in the industries of Transportation, Construction, Retail and Manufacturing. Marcy has worked in broad Human Resources based jobs and has specialized experience in Compensation, Analysis, Total Rewards, and Employee Benefits. Special areas of interest include Pay Equity, Technology and HR Analytics. Marcy holds designations as a Certified Professional of Human Resources and a Certified Compensation Professional.
