What is the UCard?

The UCard is the University of New Brunswick's official Photo ID Card. Much more than a simple ID, this card gives you discounts around town, access to library resources, entry to URec facilities, meal plans, entrance to exams and secure areas and can even be used as a campus debit card.

If your UCard is lost or stolen, you can quickly and easily deactivate your card via UCard Online accessed through your myUNB Portal Quick Launch menu.

Once UCard Online opens, click "Card Services" and then "Deactivate Your UCard".

This will freeze the money in your General account and Meal Plan Cash used to purchase goods and services located on the Fredericton campus only.

All other UCard services (library, secure access, etc.) will remain active on your UCard until you have been issued a replacement card from the UNB Card Office.

If you have found your UCard, please go to UCard Online and under "Card Services" click "Reactivate Your UCard".

If your card is gone for good, visit the UNB Card Office for a replacement card. A $15 card replacement fee will apply to students.

You are responsible for all use of your UCard until the card has been deactivated.
