Office of Capital Planning and Property Development

The Office of Capital Planning and Property Development plays an important role in the management of the University of New Brunswick's land endowment and properties.

With guidance from the UNB's Land Management Strategy, we oversee more than 8,000 acres of land across the province, including campuses in Fredericton and Saint John.

Building the campuses of tomorrow

We also have responsibility for major capital projects on both campuses including the Richard J. CURRIE CENTER in Fredericton and the Hans W. Klohn Commons in Saint John.

Millions of dollars of investment from all levels of government targeted to new buildings and renovations are helping to redefine the student experience at UNB.

A commitment to sustainable planning and stewardship

Reporting to the Vice-President (Finance and Corporate Services), we provide an advisory role to the Properties Committee of the Board of Governors and the University Management Committee.

We are committed to strategic and sustainable planning for the University of New Brunswick, guided by principles of professionalism and responsible land stewardship.

Our efforts and partnerships are helping to build a greener UNB and better campus environment for our students.
