Methods of Payment
We accept payment in the forms of Cash, Debit Card, VISA, Mastercard, and American Express.
Return Policy
Most products purchased through the Computer Sales Centre may be returned for seven calendar days from date of purchase, as long as the product is unopened and accompanied by the original sales receipt.
Refunds will be issued at the lower of the purchase price or the current retail price.

Special Order Products: Special Order products (products we do not normally sell or stock in the store) are non-returnable.
Orders for software licenses and Apple computer products cannot be cancelled or altered once placed, and these products cannot be returned.
Defective and Dead-On-Arrival Products
All warranties offered on products sold by the Computer Sales Centre are manufacturer's warranties, and Computer Sales Centre warranty and repair policies for any given product will reflect manufacturer's stated policies.
For most products, defective product can be returned to the Computer Sales Centre and exchanged for an identical product for twenty one days from date of purchase. If an identical product is not available, a refund or exchange may be offered. This is subject to individual manufacturer's policies, and will require confirmation of defect by either Computer Sales Centre or manufacturer's technicians, as applicable.
Products returned as defective to the Computer Sales Centre MUST be returned complete with all original packaging and accessories, including all cables, manuals, bags, foam packing material, etc. originally included. If you no longer have the packaging or are missing supplied components, you may have to contact the manufacturer directly for alternate repair or replacement arrangements.
After 21 days, as well as for products with missing components or packaging, or for certain products designated by the manufacturer as not being serviced by dealers, customers will be required to contact the manufacturer or the manufacturer's designated service centre directly for service. This must be done by the customer, or we will do it for you (where permitted) at standard shop labour rates ($60 per hour).
Depending on manufacturer's policy, customers may be required to pay shipping to or from the manufacturer's repair facility.

Academic Software
Many of the software packages (and a few hardware products) are designated by the manufacturer as "Academic", "Educational", or "Student" products. This means that the manufacturer provides these products at reduced price, on the condition that they are sold to qualified customers only. Qualifications for purchase are determined by the individual manufacturers, and may vary slightly.
General guidelines are:
"Academic" and "Educational" products are for sale only to current Faculty, Staff, and Students of a qualifying institution. Qualifying institutions are usually degree or diploma granting Higher Education institutions.
"Student" products are generally for sale only to Students, and are usually not available for purchase by Faculty, Staff, or Institutional customers.
Educational products are usually not crippled or "Lite" versions of the commercial product. They are generally the same product sold commercially at much higher prices. Some products carry restrictions on commercial use in their license agreements.
Proof of eligibility is required for the purchase of Educationally priced product. This must be in the form of a current Faculty, Staff, or Student identification card (with current Validation sticker, in the case of students), OR a written proof of enrollment/employment from the faculty, department, or school of enrollment or employment.
Special Orders
We can order many computer products not normally kept in stock. Delivery time for most items is approximately one week (rush one or two day delivery available for additional charge). Contact us for price and availability of products you require. Most Special Order products are non-returnable. Most Special Order products will require a non-refundable 15% deposit. Items we cannot return to our supplier must be paid for in full in advance.
Delivery Options
We do not conduct mail-order sales to customers outside the University community. Products are sold only at our physical location and must be picked up there. by the end-user (not by a courier or similar agent).
On-Campus Delivery for Institutional Customers
We are able to deliver to university departments and offices, through the Campus Mail delivery system. The University does place limits on the maximum size and weight of items they will deliver through Campus Mail. For items exceeding these limitations, we can arrange for special delivery via Physical Plant or other vehicle. Special arrangements and/or additional delivery fees may be necessary.
