Alumni Scholarships/Awards

The UNB Associated Alumni realizes that the rising cost of education puts students in a tough financial position. That's why we provide scholarship money each year to students to assist with their education. Thanks to donations from generous alumni and other supporters, the UNB Associated Alumni and Alumnae are able to provide over $80 000 in annual funding assistance.

Student Alumni Engagement Fund

The Student-Alumni Engagement Fund is a new program sponsored by the UNB Associated Alumni. The purpose of SAEF is to support students and student groups seeking to develop alumni-student programs and events on UNB campuses. Grants totaling up to $5000 will be dispersed annually.

Valedictorian

Since 1995, there have been UNB Valedictorians elected each year - one for each spring graduation ceremony.  The term, Valedictorian is an anglicized derivation of the Latin vale dicere ("to say farewell"). At UNB, the valedictorian address generally is considered a final farewell to classmates, before they disperse to pursue their individual paths after graduating.
