Common Questions

Why do I need to update my contact information?

If you haven’t updated your contact information with UNB since graduating, we may still have the same email address, home address and phone number on file that you applied to UNB with as a student. Too often, information about UNB, UNB alumni events, benefits and services are being sent to the wrong place. We encourage you to update your contact information with UNB after moving or changing your email address, to ensure you aren’t missing out on UNB news or alumni events in your city.

How will my information be used?

By submitting the online form, you will automatically be entered into the contest and the information provided will be used to contact you if you are selected as a winner. The information collected on this form may also be used to contact you regarding UNB and UNB Alumni events, UNB and UNB alumni news, fundraising and surveys. Your personal information will only be accessed by authorized persons.

Please note: your contact information will not be updated automatically in our systems upon completion of this form. Our staff are working to make the appropriate changes in a timely manner.

How can I win?

To be eligible for this contest, you must be alumni of the University of New Brunswick. Alumni is defined as anyone who has completed 30 credit hours towards a UNB degree program. UNB faculty/staff and current UNB students are not eligible to win. If you are currently a UNB student, but you previously completed a UNB degree program you are eligible to win.

All alumni who complete and submit the online form will be entered for a chance to win one of four prizes. There will be one contest entry per person. If your contact information changes during the duration of the campaign, you are encouraged to complete the online form again, but your name will only be counted once towards a prize. The contest closes mid-September, 2017 and the winner will be selected at random from the entire pool of eligible contest entries after the closing date.
