Wednesday, Sept. 27

  • 6:00 pm: Beaverbrook Scholars Dinner - Lady Beaverbrook Residence - an opportunity to reunite with former Beaverbrook Scholars, meet the current students and enjoy a wonderful meal in the Lady Beaverbrook Residence.

Thursday, Sept. 28

Friday, Sept. 29 - Red & Black Day (wear your UNB colors!)

  • 9:00 am: President’s Golden Grad Breakfast for the Class of 1967 - Student Union Building - 3rd floor Ballroom  - Class of ’67 and guests – a wonderful way to start your day - reunite with your fellow classmates and meet UNB President, Eddy Campbell!
  • 10:30 am: UNB Research Showcase - Memorial Hall - Modelled after TEDx, the UNB Research Showcase, gives the audience a sample of some of the amazing work being accomplished by UNB researchers. The event consists of on 15-minute introductory talk, followed by 10 to 12 3-minute mini presentations.
  • 12:00 pm: Class of 1967 at Government House - For all members of UNB's Centennial Class - join friends at Government House for a chance to catch up, connect and enjoy a light. Also!...a chance to be a part of the '1967 Class Photo'.
  • 12 pm: Red & Black Street Party - SUB Quad/Cafeteria - Join us for some music, cake and giveaways. First 300 people get a #ProudlyUNB t-shirt.
  • 12:30 pm: Class of 1952 Foresters - Class Luncheon - Forestry Building - Join members of the Class of 1952 Foreseters for a luncheon - a wonderful chance to catch up with friends and classmates at one of UNB architectural gemstones, the UNB Forestry Building. 
  • 12:30 pm: Class of 1957 - Homecoming Luncheon - Alumni Memorial Building - Join members of the Class of 1957 for lunch at the Alumni Memorial Building. A wonderful chance to catch up with friends and classmates.
  • 1:00 pm: Class of 1982 Biochemistry/Chemistry - Tour of Science BuildingsCatch up with classmates for a tour of all the places you called home when you were at UNB! Meet at the Dean’s Office (Physics & Administration Building, Room 109), bring your photos, scans and stories. There are plans to adjourn to the ‘Grad House’ after for a beverage or two.
  • 2:00 pm: Class of 1962 Civil Engineers - Wine & Cheese - Head Hall Conference Room - Join members of the class of 1962’s Civil Engineers for a Wine & Cheese at Head Hall. A wonderful chance to catch up with friends and classmates.
  • 2:00 pm: Class of 1962 Electrical Engineers - Meet & Greet - Delta Hotel - The Electrical Engineer class of '62 is planning a get together after 55 years of lives lived away from the campus and with very little contact between each other. Join friends for a meet and greet on Friday, Sept. 29, in the Carlton Room of the Delta Hotel on Woodstock Road.
  • 3:00 pm: LAW 125 - Ludlow Hall Open House & Tours - Ludlow Hall - Check out your graduation composite photo or the library carrel where you spent at least half your time at Ludlow Hal. Tours begin at 4:00 pm and rumour has it that Prof. McEvoy will be one of the tour guides
  • 5:00 pm: LAW 125 - Reception @ Ludlow - Ludlow HallEnjoy locally sourced wine, beer and cheeses while you viewing the special Law 125 displays in the library. Go find your law composite...catch with old friends and make new ones! 
  • 5:30 pm: Class of 1977: Wine & Cheese - Colter Room - Aitken Centre - Join us at the Alumni Lounge for a Wine & Cheese Social - an opportunity to get together with your classmates and catch up, look through yearbooks and relax before we move off to evening dinner plans.
  • 6:00 pm: Reception for Homecoming Lobster Boil (or 'Law'bster Boil') - Aitken Centre - Mingle with fellow alumni and friends before sitting down to a traditional Maritime meal.  
  • 7:00 pm: Homecoming Lobster/'Law'bster Boil & Dance - Aitken Centre - A Homecoming tradition – enjoy maritime hospitality, while reconnecting with UNB alumni and friends! The fun does not end there - enjoy the wonderful sounds of a great local band, Jukebox Live. Remember to wear your red and black gear as we celebrate UNB! (If you are a part of the Law 125 celebrations, please feel free to call this the 'Law'bster Boil !).
  • 9:00 pm: Homecoming Dance - Aitken Centre - no interest in a feed of lobster but would love the opportunity to kick up your heels? Join us for a night of listening and grooving to the amazing sounds of JukeBox Live.

Saturday, Sept. 30

  • 9:00 am: UNB Homecoming/Escape Logic 'The Quest 2017' - UNBF campus - various locations the UNB Alumni Office has partnered with Escape Logic Games to offer two unique puzzle hunts - interactive team challenges that will take you all over the UNB Fredericton campus. The 'Quest 2017' is a more challenging event designed for teams looking for more challenge with a few more twists and turns. 
  • 9:30 am: Class of 1967 BPE:  Tour of Kinesiology Buildings - Lady Beaverbrook gym - Join friends of the 1967 BPE class to meet with Dean Wayne Albert of UNB's Kinesiology Faculty for a tour and update on the exciting things occurring in Kinesiology.
  • 9:30 am: Class of 1967 BN: Get Together at McLaggan Hall - Room 103 - Meet up with fellow nursing grads at McLaggan Hall and catch up with life-long friends. Dr. Pat Seaman, acting Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, will be there to say hello and provide some insight into what is happening within the Faculty.
  • 10:00 am: Class of 1982 Biochemistry/Chemistry: Breakfast at the Lunar RogueJoin classmates at the Lunar Rogues on King Street for some great downtown fare.
  • 10:00 am: UNB Homecoming Puzzle Hunt - UNBF campus - various locations the UNB Alumni Office has partnered with Escape Logic Games to offer two unique puzzle hunts - interactive team challenges that will take you all over the UNB Fredericton campus. For those of you that are looking for a puzzle hunt that's a bit easier but will still be lots of fun, check out the UNB Homecoming Puzzle Hunt. This is a great first hunt for the uninitiated or for teams who have not done too many puzzle hunts in the past. 
  • 10:00 am: ARTS: Open House - Tilley Hall - The Faculty of Arts would like to extend an invite to all graduates to visit Tilley Hall. See the Gregg Centre - UNB's Centre for the Study of War and Society or visit our bioarchaeology lab to learn more about Dr. Amy Scott’s Bioarchaeology Field School partnership with Parks Canada. Light refreshments will be available and a slideshow of photos in Tilley 102.
  • 10:00 am: ENGINEERING: Open House & Tour - Head Hall - Calling all UNB Engineers! The Faculty of Engineering would like to extend an invite to you to visit Head Hall - see how the space has changed, learn about developments in the faculty and meet current students, professors and researchers.
  • 10:00 am: LAW 125: What's Happening @ UNB Law - Ludlow HallThere is a lot of new development and study occurring at UNB Law. See how teaching at the Law School has changed and what what amazing research is being done and its affect on the world of law.
  • 11:30 am: Class of 1962 - Homecoming Luncheon - Student Union Building Room 103 - Join members of the Class of 1962 for a casual buffet lunch. A wonderful chance to catch up with friends and classmates. Held at the 'new' Student Union Building with its fantastic views of the campus.
  • 12:00 pm: Class of 1967 BBA - BBA'67 Luncheon - Alumni Memorial Building - President's Room - Join classmates on Saturday and enjoy a light meal and a chance to re-connect at the Alumni Memorial Building (the old Student Centre).
  • 1:00 pm: Family FunFest: Explore UNB! - outside of Head HallA chance for families to enjoy the UNB campus and experience an afternoon of fun and discovery. Read more! 
  • 1:00 pm: UNB Homecoming Football Game - BMO field - - Wear your red and black and help us cheer on our UNBF Team....Go UNB! Lots of fun, excitement, food and prizes!
  • 1:30 pm: Class of 1977 BN: Get Together at McLaggan Hall - Room 102 - Join nursing grads of 1977 at McLaggan Hall and catch up with your former classmates. Dr. Pat Seaman, acting Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, will be there to say hello and provide some insight into what is happening within the Faculty.
  • 4:30 pm: Class of 1957 and 1952 - Cocktail Social - Home of Iris Bliss - An opportunity for members of the class of 1957 and 1952 to enjoy a get together before moving on to the Senior Class Dinner. It will be a great chance to meet up with alumni & friends and catch up.
  • 5:00 pm: Class of 1967: Wine & Cheese - Student Union Building Atrium - Join us at the Alumni Lounge for a Wine & Cheese Social - an opportunity to get together with your classmates and catch up, look through yearbooks and relax before we move off to evening dinner plans.
  • 6:00 pm: Senior Classes Dinner for Classes of 1967 and earlier - Student Union Building Cafeteria - An opportunity to dine and share your favorite memories of UNB with alumni from the Class of 1967 and earlier. This evening is all about UNB memories and reminiscing as we share a great meal and some great stories.
  • 6:00 pm: LAW 125 - Anniversary Dinner - **NOTE LOCATION CHANGE to Wu Conference Centre** - Join us at the Wu Conference Centre to mix and mingle with fellow Law grads and to meet Dean Kleefeld.
  • 6:00 pm: Class of 1982 Biochemistry/Chemistry - Group Dinner - Brewbakers (546 King Street) - We have booked space for your group at Brewbakers (546 King Street) – a great downtown restaurant. If the weather cooperates, you can enjoy the outdoor patio dining area - keep your fingers crossed!
  • 7:00 pm: The ‘Tasting’ - Student Union Building Ballroom  - A truly red n’ black experience as we sample an assortment of local New Brunswick beer, cider, mead and wine, paired with tasty street-style food stations from create-your-own poutine, to deep fried mac & cheese and more! A fun evening of sampling for our young alumni and a great opportunity to chat with UNB friends in the SUB Ballroom. 

Sunday, Oct. 1

  • 9:00 am: Farewell Breakfast - Student Union Building Ballroom - Get together with classmates and friends one more time as our Homecoming weekend concludes.
