The UNB Alumni Calgary Chapter has been fundraising for a number of years to provide
endowment funds to the university for a Calgary Alumni Bursary. This bursary, currently
valued at $200, is awarded on the basis of financial need to a student who has completed at least the minimum requirements for the first year of an undergraduate degree program and is from southern Alberta. In addition, the recipient must demonstrate successful academic achievement and involvement in extracurricular activities and/or community involvement. The award is currently valued at $200 and was awarded for the first time for the 2011-12 academic year.

In order to increase our endowment funds and position the Calgary Chapter to provide either a higher bursary amount or more bursaries, you are invited to contribute directly to the fund. Donations can be made by HERE  by going to “Click here to donate online” ensuring in step 2 that you include in the dialogue box that the donation is directed to the "Calgary Alumni Bursary Fund".

Thank you!
