UNB Talks

UNB Talks is a new series focusing on UNB’s excellence in research, innovation and teaching. The series will be held in four Canadian cities each with a breakfast event featuring a guest speaker from UNB, and an evening event, where alumni and friends can gather to network, socialize and hear more about what is happening at UNB. 

UNB Talks Toronto - Cybersecurity

On Oct. 26, alumni and friends gathered to learn more about the world of cybersecurity with Dr. Ali Ghorbani, dean of UNB’s faculty of computer science and Canada Research Chair in Cyber Cecurity. This was followed by an evening social held at the Glen Abbey Golf Club. 

UNB Talks Ottawa - Innovation and Entrepreneurship

On Nov. 3, alumni and friends got together over breakfast to explore the world of innovation and entrepreneurship with Dr. Dhirendra Shukla, professor in UNB's faculty of engineering and Dr. J. Herbert Smith ACOA Chair, and mingled at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum in the evening.
