URec - Winter 2017

The project

The URec faculty and staff postcard highlights special offers available at the CURRIE CENTER and was delivered to each department through campus mail.

Faculty and staff are one of the main user groups at the CURRIE CENTER; however, URec believes there is still a large number that don’t have URec memberships, don’t know about URec or believe URec is only for students. Since faculty and staff already receive a high volume of electronic messages, URec went with the more traditional print option to stand out.

URec also released this video in Jan. 2017 to increase awareness of fitness and strength training programs and facilities.

The goals of the postcard were to:

  • Inform faculty and staff of the services and programs available to them.
  • Highlight the changes URec made to better suit faculty and staff (payroll deduction, change to lunch time class schedules, etc.).
  • Show faculty and staff that URec is there to support them on their health and wellness journey.
  • Increase the amount of faculty and staff members at URec’s facility.

The inspiration

The postcard incorporates a creative design with elements from UNB’s Brand Toolkit which is a key resource for getting to know the UNB brand and visual identity.
