Applying to UNB - International Applicants
Important Notes
The deadline to apply for most undergraduate programs at the University of New Brunswick is March 31. This ensures that you get the best possible opportunity of being offered a place in your preferred programs. Students applying to highly competitive programs such as Nursing are strongly encouraged to apply early.
Late applications will be considered based on available program space.
- The application deadline for the Bachelor of Education program is January 31.
- Law applicants should contact the Faculty of Law.
- The Education, Kinesiology and Nursing (excluding the Advanced Standing program) admit students for the September intake ONLY. Kinesiology applications from transfer students only will be considered for January admission.
- Education, Kinesiology, Nursing (Fredericton only), BIS and DAUS programs require supplementary forms. Applying to Renaissance College also requires additional documents.

After filling in all the information (including the payment method), click the submit button at the bottom of the page. If you choose to pay the $60.00 processing fee by Visa, Mastercard, or American Express, please be sure to include all payment details.
If your credit card is not approved for payment or you elect to pay by cheque/money order, please order a bank draft through a major Canadian banking institution and forward it to:

If your application is successfully submitted, an automatic response confirming that your application has been received and providing your UNB application number will be sent immediately to the e-mail address you provide. Please carefully read this response as it contains important information regarding your application documents and deadlines.

Applying for Entrance Scholarships
You may apply online for entrance scholarships as soon as you have completed your application for admission.
Applying for Residence
Students who wish to apply for residence on the Fredericton campus will automatically receive the residence application upon acceptance in their admission package. Students who wish to apply for residence on the Saint John campus may do so at any time after they have applied for admission.
