UNB Saint John offers a concurrent Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Education degree that focuses on elementary school teacher training for kindergarten through grade 5, and includes courses in human development, teaching techniques and education theories.
Admission to the Bachelor of Education, School Years Patter, at UNB Fredericton typically requires the completion of an undergraduate degree with a minimum cumulative grade point (cgpa) average of 2.7. Admission to the Bachelor of Education is highly competitive. The minimum cgpa stated may not be sufficient to secure a place.

Admissions to the Bachelor of Education in Adult Education consecutive program requires the completion of an undergraduate degree. However, the Bachelor of Education in Adult Education, concurrent program, is a 120 credit hour program that does not require a first degree.
The concurrent Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Education program at UNB Saint John is available to students who have completed their first year of studies in the BA program. Students must apply for admission to
