UNB Saint John offers a degree program for existing registered nurses who want to obtain a Bachelor of Nursing. It is offered as either full-time or part-time studies.
The program consists of 19 courses, or 57 credit hours. A valid Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) certification is counted towards three (3) credit hours of an unassigned nursing elective. Only one CNA certification will be accepted per applicant.
There are 18 credit hours of electives and students may choose between nursing and non-nursing areas of study. Each course session is offered one day per week to accommodate RN work schedules.
