Sport and Exercise Psychology is where high-performing athletes can develop their winning edge.
Course of study
This program of study combines examination of kinesiology and psychology in an attempt to explore complex issues such as body image, exercise adherence, the power of risk, the role of aggression, anxiety and arousal in sport as well as the motivations and goals that keep athletes on track.
In your first year of study, you are required to take an introductory course in kinesiology and Introduction to Psychology I and II courses. Students can declare a major in Sport and Exercise Psychology at the end of second year.
