From the intricate work in a surgical room to the practical guidance offered to new parents, we'll help you bring your nursing degree to life.
Explore the nursing profession through a blend of academic excellence and professional experience. From the red-brick buildings of our Fredericton campus, to our bustling Saint John campus, and our nursing site in Moncton and Bathurst the Bachelor of Nursing (BN) program provides opportunities to enhance personal development and professional growth and skills that are applicable to many different nursing careers.
Opportunities for clinical practice are emphasized where students work in medical facilities, hospitals, community healthcare clinics and rehabilitation centres. By enrolling in the BN program, students have the opportunity to practice in a wide variety of sites locally and provincially, and possibly nationally and internationally.
The four-year BN degree from UNB qualifies graduates to write the Canadian Registered Nurse Examination (CRNE) set by the Canadian Nurses Association.
Moncton campus
Adjacent to the Moncton Hospital students receive clinical experience in health care at multiple sites within community settings as well as in the hospital.
The Moncton Campus offers a Peer Mentoring program that supports students in areas such as time management, study skills, information access, and problem resolution.
