Introduces an ecological approach to understanding the relationship between forest ecosystem condition and the major groups of wildlife forests, including species at risk. Emphasizes interdependence of forest organisms and the terresterial and aquatic componenents of their environment, especially in the context of natural and anthropogenic stressors. Covers identification and habitat requirements of selected wildlife species, and applicable legislation.
