ED4561Assessment and Learning3 ch (3C)

This course will deal with the what, why and how of classroom-based assessment. It will examine exemplary practices related to formative assessment (assessment for and as learning), as well as summative assessment (assessment of learning). Topics will include defining clear learning/assessment targets and standards-based assessment, designing assessment techniques, matching assessment with learning, and communicating assessment results. 

NOTE: This course is compulsory for all students in the FSL concentration and is the equivalent of ED 5175 Classroom Assessment. Students may receive credit for ED 4561 Évaluation des apprentissages or ED 5175 Classroom Assessment, but not both.
