Biochemical, molecular and genetic methods are applied to the study of bacteria and their viruses. Projects examine cell structure, function and physiological responses of bacteria, and the lifecycle, genetics and assembly of bacteriophage T4. Limited enrollment. Prerequisites: BIOL 2025, 2033 , 2043 , 2053 , 2073, or equivalents. Pre- or co-requisite: BIOL 3261. Recommended: BIOL 3493. | ||
